The first morning of lobstering mini season, we awoke to a phone call at 4AM from a friend telling us people were getting on our honey hole and we needed to come quick. We jumped out of bed and got strait off of Catchin’ moments and right on to the Really Sweeet. On the tiny island of No Name Cay, in the Abaco Islands, you can find the famous swimming pigs. Piggyville as they call it is hog heaven for these adorable little sunbathers. When pulling up to the beautiful northwest shore the pigs hear the engine and come running. They start to swim out to the boat in hopes of getting a treat. The boat took off from Painted Boat Marina at 6am while we were sleeping. Six hours later we arrived at Princess Louisa Inlet. We were amazed to see the most beautiful view of snow covered mountain tops everywhere. We had to wait for slack tide to be able to pass through the small inlet entrance due to small rapids. After leaving the big city of Vancouver we arrived at a small beautiful resort called Painted Boat Spa and Marina. That night we cooked our first family dinner on the boat.
